Tip #1 is for everyone in laundry land. I recently discovered that stain pretreater put in a clean, empty dish washing liquid bottle is easier to control than the spray bottle. Since I buy pretreater by the gallon, this means I don't have to worry about the spray bottle stopping up or the pump wearing out. 
Tip #2 is for anyone needing to grab a quick bite on the go. Today I needed to have some lunch but had to leave because I was running late. Now, any of you who know me personally are aware that I am really unpleasant if I go too long without eating.
So, to avoid this, I made a peanut butter sandwich. Instead of putting it in a plastic baggy like I normally would I folded the paper towel I had made it on like an envelope. I then secured it with a small piece of tape.
Now I have a napkin as well as something to carry my sandwich in.
